Color Me Blue
Growing up with autism, being “weird” just didn’t cut it for me; precocious is more like it. I struggled with my words, but only spoken ones. I struggled with tone and pitch. I was either too poetic when I should have been direct, or too blunt when I needed tact.
But for all these traits that made me a tense, socially awkward child, I always found a rhythm in music.
That’s why I was destined to be a songwriter. My instruments, whether a pen or a guitar, were conduits for what my heart truly wanted to say.
Now, stringing up words, tone, and pitch wasn’t an obstacle, it was an outlet.
Specializing in the Music of Language
My first poem came out of me almost as soon as I learned how to write. A decade later, I performed my first song. In high school, I was “that person” with stacks of dollar store composition notebooks (black and white, you know the ones…) filled with poetry. Many of those words evolved into the lyrics for my first self-produced album.
Limerence has been streamed over 162 million times globally since it’s release.
As an adult with bills to pay, I started cashing in on the the last 15 years I’d invested in mastering the music of language. I used my gift to help people find jobs, win over judges, and reach the masses with their own stories. I’ve honed this skill with churches, small businesses, and even Fortune 500 companies.
Putting Your Head & Heart in a Chord
Since 2018, I’ve been investing in my own passion project: Koshiz Music. It’s where I write songs for people who feel that their work is never done.
Koshiz Music is my attempt to make music that harmonizes our inner and outer worlds; who we are with who we know we could be.
Maybe you’re working on yourself physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, trying to find the secret to balancing all those “plates” once and for all.
Do you ever feel like who you could be tomorrow doesn’t harmonize with who you are today—but someday it will?
You just need one more “thing”, whether that’s a coach, a book, a mantra, or a song that will finally tie everything together.
Koshiz Music is where you find your head and heart in a chord.
